Robert
B. Goodman, P.E. - Managing Principal, Atlanta Office
As Vice President & Managing Principal of the Atlanta office
of Jenkins & Charland, Inc., Mr. Goodman brings over 31
years experience providing structural conception, analysis,
design and working drawings for architects and builders since
1974. He has designed over one thousand buildings, ranging in
size up to eighteen stories and 400,000 square feet. Mr. Goodman's
experience includes extensive exposure to seismic design codes
and criteria.
Designs have included the use of structural steel, both hot
and cold rolled, reinforced, precast, prestressed and post
tensioned concrete, composite high strength steel and concrete,
masonry, heavy and light timber, glue laminated wood, aluminum,
fiberglass, long span roofs and floors, braced and unbraced
frames, shear wall interaction, shallow or floating foundations
and deep foundations.

centers, churches, cultural centers, museums, visitor centers,
multi-family housing, dormitories, fraternity or sorority
