The circular shaped patient treatment area contains large open spaces with ceiling heights up to 36 feet. Successful coordination of the structural framing and mechanical systems concealed the mechanical system and maintained the desired large open spaces. In addition, Jenkins & Charland coordinated the structural design with the Contractor's preferred construction materials, resulting in wood-framed building wings and a steel-framed structure for the remainder of the building.
