Beau Ciel - Sarasota, FL
The Sarasota office of Jenkins & Charland, Inc. provided
structural engineering design, contract administration and threshold
inspection services on this exclusive $25 million, 350,000 S.F.
seventeen-story, high-rise tower in the heart of the thriving
arts district. The luxury condominium features only 44 waterfront
residences, each with a "through view" of the yacht
harbor, city skyline, and Sarasota Bay. The Grand Penthouse
with roof-top spa takes up the entire top floor of 8,100 square
feet. One of the penthouses has two levels with a two-story
glass wall overlooking the bay. The two-story, domed ceiling
lobby has a circular staircase that leads to the Plaza Club
amenities. These include the club room and bar overlooking the
yacht harbor, a 16-seat theater, private dining room/board room,
catering kitchen, card room, conference room, fitness club with
locker rooms, saunas and pool. A 3-story waterfall is attached

on the Victory Lofts project, Tampa Bay's largest loft development
in the Channelside District.
Victory Lofts is just steps away from the downtown waterfront
and the heart of the city's arts and cultural district. The
project consists of two buildings:
The 4-story Model T building was converted from an existing
warehouse built in 1925 that was used to store automobiles
into 28 loft units with 11-foot ceilings; and the 7-story
Victory building has 61 units and includes a 94-space, two-level
parking area. There are 23 loft-style flats with 12-foot ceilings,
23 two-story lofts with 20-foot ceilings and 4 two-story work/live
units with private on-street entrances.
